Northern Hart Equestrian
Certified Coach One, Graduate of Olds College - English Horsemanship Program
Sienna has had a devotion and love of horses from a very young age. At the age of seven she started English riding lessons in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories leaving each summer as a working student position by the age of 14. She started assisting lessons in 2002 and teaching on her own in 2005.
Sienna's background is mostly in the hunter/jumper circuit but she has trained in dressage under Sonja Kosh, certified riding instructor by German FN and recipient of the silver German Riding Award in the International Dressage ring.
Her show experience is from the Calgary and Edmonton circuit including among others: Magic in the Air, Jurassic Classic, Amberlea Harvest Show. Generally Sienna is competing on younger green horses who have gained experience under her own training. She aspires to participate in the eventing circuit this 2014 season with some of her more experienced horses.
In 2007 she went to Olds College where she graduated with honors from the Equine Science - English Horsemanship diploma program. While in school Sienna also received her coach one certification.
After finishing school Sienna went back to the North where she ran the lesson program and trained horses at North Country Stables for just over two years.
She has been back in Alberta for three years coaching and training out of Killereny Farms.
